Swiss Precision Machining, Inc. is continuing to grow and is in need of hard-working individuals to help us do so! We are always looking for individuals who are intrigued by the manufacturing environment and want to learn what goes into the manufacturing process. Currently, Swiss Precision is looking for the following candidates below.

Engineer - Entry Level
Job Description: Good computer skills are needed. Basic math skills are required as well. We will train! Training will include 3D modeling, drafting, speeds and feeds of tools etc. Work assignments are varied, but limited in scope and complexity. No Engineering degree required.

Quality Control Inspector
Job Description: Develops and initiates standards and methods for inspection, testing and evaluation, utilizing knowledge in the Quality Engineering field. Devises sampling procedures, develops forms and instructions for recording, evaluates and reports quality/reliability data. Using micrometers, calipers and other measuring instruments are important. Also, 1st piece inspection, statistical process control, geometric dimensioning and tolerancing are areas covered within this job field.

2nd Shift CNC Machine Operators (6:00 pm - 5:30 am)
Job Description: Working on Swiss-style CNC machines. We are willing to train! Training will include essential skills needed to run CNC Swiss-style machine (Star, Citizen, Tornos etc.). This includes tool offsets, changing tools, sharpening tools, working with barloaders, bushings, collets and CNC code. Training on all measuring equipment (caliper, micrometer, visions system etc.) and explanations of blueprint language will be taught as well. SPM will provide a multi-level training course that will help you understand the basics of machining.

Tool Crib Assistant
Job Description: Good communication skills and organization skills are required. Being organized and having the ability to multi-task are important. This job includes pulling tools for jobs being setup on machines, keeping tools organized and recording information on tool lives and usage.
